A complete removal and replacement, finished in three days.
After reviewing various pavement repair options, our clients over at Pucci and Sons decided on a complete removal and replacement of 27,790 SF of pavement to a depth of 4 and 6 inches. We completed it as scheduled and within budget in three days, including striping.
Full-depth replacement is the biggest investment you can make in a pavement fix, and it isn't always the right call. That's why our client looked at a range of repair options before deciding to replace.
Once that decision was made, time became the challenge. Fitting removal, base preparation, paving and striping for nearly 28,000 SF into three days meant every step had to run on time.
We removed and rebuilt the pavement at two depths, 4 inches and 6 inches, instead of one section across the whole area. That put the extra material where the heavier loads needed it, so the client got strength where it counts without paying for it everywhere.
Once the new surface was ready, we brought the striping back so the lot was ready to use.
27,790 SF replaced in three days, delivered on schedule and within budget for our clients at Pucci and Sons.
