What this policy covers

This policy covers forticon.com. It does not cover anything Forticon does away from this website — contracts, proposals, site visits and correspondence are governed by the agreements you sign, not by this page.

Information you give us

The only way this site collects personal information is the estimate request form. When you submit it you send us the fields you fill in: your name, company, phone number, email address, the project address, and whatever you write in the details box.

We use that to respond to your inquiry, prepare an estimate and contact you about the work. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it outside Forticon except where a subcontractor or supplier needs to quote part of the scope, or where the law requires it.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, this one is served by a web host that keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps. Those exist for security and reliability.

If analytics are enabled on this site, they record how pages are used: which pages are visited, how people arrive, roughly where in the world they are. When an estimate request is submitted an event is recorded noting which page it came from, the service selected, the property type and the timeline. No name, email address, phone number or property address is ever sent to analytics.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. If analytics are enabled the analytics provider may set cookies — see the cookie policy for the detail.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept for as long as they are commercially useful. An estimate you asked for last year may be relevant when you budget for next year. If you would rather we did not keep yours, ask and we will delete it.

Your rights

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information a business has collected about them, the right to have it deleted, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising either. Forticon does not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email or call us using the details alongside. We will need enough information to confirm who you are before acting on a request.

Children

This is a commercial construction website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date alongside changes with it. Material changes will be obvious on this page rather than buried in it.
